Registration

Registration for the conference includes access to meeting spaces with concurrent breakout sessions, a themed keynote presentation, three breakfasts, and two socials. The summary of pricing rates are as follows:

TALS Members (institutional/group or individual TALS members receive a discount on the conference)

  • Regular faculty: $395

  • Retirees: $345

  • Students/ Adjunct faculty: $195

TALS Fellows Recognition Event

Join your colleagues for the TALS Fellows Recognition Luncheon. This event brings together TALS Fellows, colleagues, friends, and guests to honor the newest TALS Fellows and Future Scholars. The luncheon will be held on Thursday, February 1st from 11:30-1:30 CST in the Pontchartrain room, which is located inside the Pan Am Life Center. Tickets must be purchased by January 16, 2024. There is a limited number of seats so purchase your ticket today! Please note that the TALS Award and Future Scholars Ceremony will take place at the Thursday evening social.

The price, $55.50, includes a buffet lunch consisting of salad, an entree (including a vegetarian option), side dishes, dessert, and non-alcoholic drinks. You have two payment options:

  • First, pay through this website (purchase option below) along with the regular registration. This option includes a nominal charge of $1.90, which is for the online processing fee.

  • Second, if you prefer not to pay the processing fee, you can submit the $55.50 payment directly from your bank account using Zelle. Even if you have never used it before, most banks allow you to transfer money from your online banking website or app. Just click on the option to transfer money using Zelle and when asked for the recipient’s email address, enter tliechty@illinois.edu.

All Fellows, their guests, guests of new Fellows, and guests of Future Scholars must pay for their attendance. Other questions regarding the Fellows Luncheon should be directed to Dr. Mary Ann Devine (mdevine@kent.edu ).

Cancellation Policy

We will provide full refunds (minus unrecoverable processing fees) until 12/1/2023 We will provide partial refunds until 1/2/2024 that includes a refund minus $100.50 (plus process fees).
